I am from taking baths to taking showers
I am from being dressed to dressing myself
I am from being fed to making my own food
From being given money to working five days a week

I am from a baby crib to a queen size bed
I am from coloring books to J.K. Rawling
I am from park basketball ball to travel team
From 1 + 1 to graphing equations

I am from playing nicely to playing unfair
I am from following the rules to disobeying my parents
I am from going to study hall to going to detention
From getting cuties to having a girlfriend

I am from video games to college applications
I am from idolizing fireman to becoming a nurse
I am from a nothing to becoming successful
From being what others want to being me

Mixed CD Story

I was a young boy, at the age of 10, when I realized I loved music. Growing from that age, to now, I have heard a variety of songs which have all impacted me and my life. I always have always dreamed to be well off when I’m older. Ray J’s top song “One Wish”, when this song hit the radio, I loved it because I could relate to it. Time went on, I grew older, and girls came into my life. I fell hard for one, and ending up not being with her. Bow Wow’s top song “Outta My System” came on and I cried. I shed more tears that night, than I had in a long time. This girl was perfect in my eyes. Day 26’s song, “Got Me Going”; and this song explained the effect this girl had on me. “Stuck with you”, by Lil Rob, appeared next, and I wanted to be stuck with her. I cried in the car some more, and Nick Lachey’s “What’s Left of Me” came on the radio and comforted me. By this time, I realized I had to get over her, and I did. Lil Wayne’s song, “I’m At War”; thoroughly explained my struggle. That weekend, I went to a party and heard techno music. I loved it. “I’m so in Love with you” and “I Can Walk On Water, I Can Fly”, were my favorite songs that night by Basshunter. A few months later, I met the best girl of my life. She was gorgeous, funny, intelligent, and perfect. She and I were getting serious, and she died in a car accident. I repeatedly listened to P Diddy’s “I’ll Be Missing You”, and Mariah Carey’s “Bye Bye”, and “Here I Am” by Rick Ross. Also The Dream’s “I Love Your Girl Remix”. I’m now planning of being successful doing whatever it takes. I plan on being a nurse, making a lot of money, and being successful in life. “Successful”, be Drake, and T-Pain’s “All the Above”, E-40’s “Go Hard or Go Home”. No what can I say, like Lil Wayne’s song states, “I’m Me”.

Now in fifth period
My last class of the day
I’m hyper

"My Impression Now" John Sellers

Sellers personal narrative is very similar to Panters. The personal narrative is based off of music. Yet these two individuals have 2 different opinions. Panter feels all music new and old is helpful. Sellers feels old music is the only good for it is what had true meaning and more than just what rhymes.

"My Ride, My Revolution" Luis J. Rodriguez

Rodriguez is a mexican who grew up in a little home, and developed his own style which stuck out from others'. Rodriguez realized and discovers how its not important to fit in with the crowd, but it's important to be an individual and create your own style, to help yourself. 

"Roller Boogie" Rob sheffield

This story is about a boy who partakes in a school play/dance to retrieve attention from girls. This boy is striving to the furthest extent to simply be noticed by these group of women. This personal narrative shows how one would strive to do something so extreme to in return get the simplest thing. 

"We Stood In Line At Ellis Island For This" Paul Feig

This story is about a kid whose parents took him to Ellis Island. This kid felt this adventure was going to be full of fun and adventure, but when he got there, he realized how he had to be much older to partake in many of the events. This kid was upset and began to tell his personal narrative of how hard it is to be a child.

"Life and Myth" Dan McAdams

This story is about a man who studies the stories of myths and others' lives. This man realizes how many individuals live their lives according to myths and believe myths therefore build their lives around these myths because they are afraid to face them, although these myths are myths, so are not considered to be true. 

"I Could Tell You Stories" Patricia Hampl

This is a story about a girl who is telling us stories about her past. She discusses issues, fun times, emotions, and lifestyles she has faced. This girl explains how she could tell us so many stories to help us learn, but explains how vital it is to be an individual and learn off your own experiences.

Bekind Rewind

This movie with Jack Black is a great comedy. This video is about 2 guys remaking videos for others to watch. These videos may not be original, but these videos are creative, humorous, and original. This movie inspired me to create my video and gave me many ideas for my remake video.

Son of Rambow

This movie is a replica of the original Rambow. A little boy makes friends with others, and produces a remake of Rambow: called the Son of Rambow. This boy is the main character, and faces thge struggles a producer faces when porducing a video. This movie shows friendship, hardship, and comedy.
