"The Way We Live Now: Growing Up On Facebook" Peggy Orenstein
Orenstein states how Facebook is a network for not only kids, but for grown ups. This norm established by society that Myspace and Facebook are only for children is simply a myth. Orenstein shows statistics which prove the population of older individuals joining these online networks is growing by the day. This article inspires me to look for a norm, and discover a stereotype for that norm, then prove the norm wrong.
"The Depth Of Depp" Grace Habegger
This personal narrative is a story of a teenage girl who is obsessed with the actor Johnny Depp. Her main goal in life is to meet Johnny Depp. This narrative shows us how much one individual could be so inspired by another individual, and how someone could influence another individual so much.

"Facebook In A Crowd" Hal Niedzviecki
Niedzviecki wrote about a teenage boy who creates a Facebook. This same kid attempts to make new friends by throwing a party. He sent out invitations regarding his party through Facebook. The day of his party came, and only one person showed up to his party. This one friend he made showed us how norms aren't all true. Just because one invites others to a party, doesn't mean most individuals will attend.
"Staring Down Facebook" Zoe Sandvig
This article shows the downfalls of social networking and how Facebook effects kids lives. Sandvig states how these online networks take away from college students time to studay and prepare themselves for tests and their careers. I agree with Sandvig because i feel Myspace simply takes me away from my homework and takes my attention away from what truly is important.
"The Road Warrior," The O.C. (2006)
This show is very common in today's society and is watched by many individuals. This clip we watched form this show focused on an audio technique. This technique was shown through a girl speaking dialogue, yet her mouth wasn't moving to the current words that were being said. This technique is called a voice over and is very effective when wanting to put emphasis on a certain phrase of sentence.
